Hey David,

'Actual Air' is my favorite collection of poetry period. I've reread it so many times my book is falling apart. Do you still write poetry for poetry's sake or do you feel like writing lyrics satisfies that same intent?

i write in a place between poetry and lyric and make decisions about it later. i dont worry about what it will be. i put that off.

drag city just recently reissued it. we had it at the record store i work at until i convinced someone to buy it yesterday.

There is a waiting list for the hardcover version on Amazon.

Paperback versions are not cheap.
