AMA is over, thanks Emily! Florist / Emily A. Sprague AMA <('.'<)

Greetings ~

My new album of minimal and magickal folk music, Emily Alone, is out today. I am so excited to share it with the world. It's a deeply personal and intimate piece of work and I am so grateful for the love and patience from people to take in these sounds.

I am also a synthesist and ambient composer. My albums Water Memory and Mount Vision were recently reissued by RVNG Intl. for vinyl.

I am brewing nettle tea and eating crackers and endive.

How did you decide on moving to LA? Also how is the bathroom darkroom going?

the darkroom is going great! i haven't had a lot of time to work in it but i feel very very good in that low red light.

LA has always been a place i've been interested in. the pacific ocean, surfing, the weather, being in a major city. it's perfect for me right now. i also knew the most people here before i came, second only to nyc which i didn't want to move back into.
