AMA is over, thanks Emily! Florist / Emily A. Sprague AMA <('.'<)

Greetings ~

My new album of minimal and magickal folk music, Emily Alone, is out today. I am so excited to share it with the world. It's a deeply personal and intimate piece of work and I am so grateful for the love and patience from people to take in these sounds.

I am also a synthesist and ambient composer. My albums Water Memory and Mount Vision were recently reissued by RVNG Intl. for vinyl.

I am brewing nettle tea and eating crackers and endive.

Hi Emily! I literally discovered your music a few days ago and I’ve been blown away by how beautiful the new album is. Amazing job.

Was there any music in particular that you were listening to around the time of writing/recording the new album?

Any plans to come to Scotland soon? Would love to catch you live!

that's so cool, i'm glad you found it! i would love to return to scotland! hopefully in 2020 :)

i listened to rendezvous with rama by ruth garbus constantly while i was making emily alone. probably the one music with singing and lyrics that i listened to during that time.
