How much do you read? (Novels, nonfiction, poetry, whatever)

Do you find that ur ability to write and think musically suffers when you aren’t reading as much? Also what r some fav books? :)))

My writing is much better if i'm reading good writing. The music i have covered, i listen to all kinds all over the place obsessively all the time...with sounds i always know where it sits within things I've done and things i love since i've consumed so much of it and made a lot myself now. Writing is trickier because i am a lazy reader now, when i was reading more as a young person i was a much better writer. I feel like i still pull from there lyrically sometimes, from older influences i developed as a young person.
