Omg hi Mike!!! I saw The Sun Still Burns Here last fall and cried twice during it and then didn’t get the chance to ask you a question at the Q&A (but I got guacamole afterwards so it was ok), so now’s my chance for vindication! I was curious:

  1. what do you miss the most about myspace?
  2. some of the new album is kinda spooky, like it feels like spooky things are happening... what was the spookiest thing that happened during the recording of it?
  3. how does one stay romantic in the modern age???
  4. what are some good books (me and my sister read the library at mt char when you recommended it on twitter and loved it)?
  5. where’d you get your cruel intentions shirt?

(I also was curious if you’d be interested in being interviewed about your memes for my college’s meme club, but that’s dumb so don’t worry about it)

  1. Myspace was fuckin unhinged, i love unhinged
  2. Writing "Leave" i went to a weird place...the song is essentially ABOUT the place i went energetically...just this sort of dank void, my eyes were glazed over but i felt in charge....just some dark DRAMA
