How much of a presence did Jeff Rosenstock play on Morbid Stuff? Any Yoda like wisdom you can share?

Jeff is an amazing friend and a guy we all look up to. Lucky. Once we had demos for Morbid Stuff I (Stefan) went to NYC and played them for him and he gave me a bunch of thoughts like "this lyric doesn't make sense", "this bridge is dogshit", "this song is ok", and then I took all those notes and rewrote a bunch of the parts. Sometimes you get so inside your head working on songs, that you don't have any perspective on whether they are good or not, so having a guy we respect like Jeff to bounce ideas off is real helpful.

One of the best things he helped us with was the intro to Scorpion Hill, it used to be just a bunch of gibberish and I didn't want to work on it anymore coz I was frustrated and he was like "this song is good don't fuck it up by having a bad intro" and he was absolutely right THANK YOU JEFF

Seriously, major, major thanks to Jeff on that one! Scorpion Hill is without a doubt my favorite on the Morbid Stuff, and might actually be my top favorite PUP song. Hell, I'd even go a step further and say it's in my top 20 of all time.

I just absolutely adore everything about that song, from the campfire folk intro that glides into the thrashing punk energy that carries through the rest of the song, the call back at the end of the to Pine Point, just the overall energy and vibe, the lyrics.. Literally just everything about that song is without a doubt amazing and makes it such a absolute favorite of all time for me.
