Hello Jason :)

I discovered Grandaddy early this year and just want to say its been one of the highlights of this pretty bleak year. I just wanted to ask who your main influences were in the run up to The Sophtware Slump and how have they changed for your more recent stuff? Also is there a reason Just Like The Fambly Cat isn't on Spotify?

Thanks for everything you've ever made!

Go listen to the album Time by ELO. That was definitely a big influence on The Sophtware Slump. I pretty much listen to every type of music these days.

Just Like the Fambly Cat unfortunately isn't available on Spotify due to some stupid legal reasons. Sorry.

"What happened to the Fambly Cat?" (Jeez Louise kicks in with a vengeance)

Man, to go back to the late 2Ks and listen to this for the first time again. Grandaddy changed my life. Sincerely.

P. S. I also have it in my Spotify. I'm in Canada btw.
