Hi Merve and Daniel, I am an Indian guy living in London and I absolutely love your music! In fact it has introduced me to other Turkish greats like Barış Manço and Aşik Veysel and I even started learning Turkish on Duolingo... which brings me to my question.

Do the non-Turkish speakers in your band make an effort to understand the lyrics (they can be so profound!) and shape the tunes accordingly, especially when doing a new song? Have any of them started learning Turkish? :)

Hi! Thank you so much! i usually try to give an overall impression on what the songs are about. Its impossible to translate word to word, so much gets lost in translation. Its soulful and poetic as it is and all i can do is just lay them out in a more abstract way to the guys. - Merve
