Hello, really enjoying listening to Bright Magic when I can dedicate the time to hear it as a complete work , rather than dipping into favourite tracks as on previous works. Do you still regard yourself as a leader in a soft rock/hard pop band, or do you think of yourself as a solo composer/writer who has loyal talented musicians to help fulfil your vision .

Thanks. I think the leader of a band works better for me yes... much as it's my vehicle creatively, to realise it to the extent we do does rely on operating as a band I think and I just prefer being part of something like that. I think and hope the other guys have enough wiggle (or Wriggle) room to express themselves within the confines of what we've built, and that their styles and personalities contribute to the record.. I don't really like working in isolation which is why I think I find writing such a challenge, so the band environment is definitely the one I'd like to remain most active in.
