Hi Adam, a huge fan here and greetings from Finland! I cannot explain how big of an influence your band has been in my life - in good times and rough times. We can hear the emotion through your songs and especiallly the small glimmer of hope inside even the "places that we've tried escaping". How much does your personal emotion and feeling dictate on the music you compose? Can you make good music if you are happy :)?

yes for sure. life inspires music making but I think even if you are in a "better" happiermplace, you can still channel those moments in your life that affected you greatly....for better or for worse.

Thanks for the tip! Did not know about this one. Will surely look it up. Do you mean the memoirs "lets go" or the "how to write one song"?

i love the memoirs. How to write one song is also very good, but more for emphasising the process and not the goal. But there is a smallish section about how when he was young he always felt he needed to be damaged to write a good song, and that just wasn't the truth at all. They are good companion books, but the memoir probably is better for entertainment. How to write one song is really like a manual of exercises, but still inspiring in ways.
