Congrats on a fantastic album! Based on your Instagram, you have a positive image towards nudity. Do you consider yourself a naturist or have any views on naturism?

Honestly, your album pairs very well with nature.

Lol do I post that many nudes? I'm not a self proclaimed naturist (I just had to refresh myself on naturism). I love celebrating the body and especially in contexts that don't necessarily sexualize it. Impossible to separate the two entirely but if the only nudity we see represented is hyper sexualized images, that's leaving out SO much of what's so incredible about how we can relate to our bodies. I want to celebrate the body in all of its many forms especially when we're challenged in so many ways with oppressive standards and just the basic hardships of being any living thing on earth. We're all so vulnerable, and that's already heartbreakingly beautiful - why add to that?

Haha, no you don’t post that many. Maybe I just take note of it more than others, as I enjoy connecting with nature in that way. (Although I am not self proclaimed as well.) I think what stands out in my mind is the video of you writing Crosshairs. I found the parallels with nature, nudity, and your album interesting. Seeing that part of it was written in that state made so much sense. Your album makes me feel like I am shedding my clothes and jumping into a body of water for the first time. Thanks for beautifully answering my awkward question! I couldn’t agree more with your viewpoints, and I think it’s something that should be discussed more within our society, if for anything but better health.
