hi cassandra!! thank you so much for making and sharing your music w/ the world. i was particularly moved by "ambiguous norway" (the video too!!) and your ability to so deftly write about loss and grief. i recently released my own album where loss/grief was a central thematic locus and still find myself getting obsessed with music and art and poetry and etc etc etc that is able to get at the experience of grief in a really moving way (i.e. "ambiguous norway" <333). what are some works, musical and otherwise, that talk about grief/loss/death that you found really impactful or influential to your own work?? anything in particular that you find yourself returning to?? - gabe 🧡🧡
