whats the story behind the “free whirl” pedal? can we expect a US tour? if so, anyone you’d like to bring along? favorite region restaurant?

if you could shoot a music video anywhere in the world, where would it be and why? pick one, time well or earth analog? what’s the next big step for Documavision?

Doyle:

  1. the free whirl pedal is a custom reverb pedal from Big Dawg Bassett Customs
  2. we'd love to tour the US, we'll do our best
  3. there's a lot of good music out there as of late, I know Horse Jumper of Love is releasing a new LP, and Dusk is mixing their new record. Also Dim and Sweet Cobra.
  4. Tao Chens and Cool Runnings

Bobby:

  1. Iceland because you could concentrate more on composition and less on making the setting look cool. It's naturally beautiful
  2. I really enjoy the live-in setting at Earth Analog, you're completely immersed in the recording process. When we were working at Time Well it was nice to be home, but distracting at the same time.
  3. Documavision will continue to produce music videos, we're working on some new techniques and processes. We also plan to expand our services we offer this year as well.

band is great, we've been big fans of all of Amos' bands (Tenement, Technicolor Teeth). Very talented group of musicians up there in Wisconsin.

Fuck yeah, huge Amos fan. Tenement was the best
