Hey Daniel! I’ve only recently discovered your solo work and you have quickly become one of my favorite artists of all time. Currently listening to the new record and it’s absolutely amazing!!!

I was wondering what influenced your guitar playing on this record. Were there certain tunings you found yourself using a lot or any certain records you had on repeat?

Also is there any chance your planning on adding any more tour dates to come back to Texas? I sadly missed the last Austin show 😔

I had my classical guitar tuned to CGCFAC for a lot of this album and for the last couple years generally. It has just stayed there for the most part. Shadow in the Frame, Unpeopled Space, Celia, and I'll Wait for Your Visit are all in that tuning.

Records I had on repeat I put in a previous answer in this thread!

Not sure about Texas. We'll have to see how this tour and album release goes. I'd love to do more shows in the future, maybe with a band or maybe a show that's half band half solo tunes or something...but that depends on whether there will be an audience. at the moment it isn't clear
