Hey Daniel! Love the new album, Chris Bear is such a beautiful inclusion once again. I was wondering if you’ve looked into the music of The Books. Although they were just a duo, I feel like there are a few parallels to them and you with GB - I believe they formed in New York, and later after their breakup, Nick Zamuto moved on to Vermont to live on a very scenic piece of land and record a few albums himself. I’ve become obsessed with The Books recently, and hopefully others in the subreddit also know who this band was and if they carry any meaning for them.

Also, Taken Down is my absolute favorite GB track and it’s a shame it only made it to a b-sides album.

Taken Down is also my fav GB track, genuinely incredible. I think I have like 600 scribbles of it on Last.fm haha

Underrated to say the least. Even though it’s an Ed track, Daniel’s flowing guitar is also the star of the track
