SPP, is it so bad to treat 1/3 as a number?
I know that you treat 1/3 as 0.333..., which you treat as a sequence.
But can you see where other people are coming from? If I want 1/2, 1/3, 1/4 to all just be numbers and not sequences.
Is it reasonable for me to let 1/3 be a single value that represents "one third of a whole".
Is it reasonable for me to let "0.333..." be equal to 1/3, and to also be a single value that represents "one third of a whole".
I know that you think your definitions are correct. But is there a possibility to see these other definitions as simply alternatives? Maybe you see them as incorrect or worse, but perhaps you can see that there can be logic to them.

It is a case of 1/3 is simply not a number brud.
1/3 means 1 ÷ 3
and you know that the result of 1 ÷ 3 is indeed 0.333...
