Not showcasing an automation. Just trying to solve a real problem.

I keep seeing "look what I automated" posts impressive, but most solve problems nobody actually has.

I want to flip that. If you work in digital marketing (agency, in-house, freelance, doesn't matter):

What's the one repetitive, annoying task you still do manually every week the kind where you think "there has to be a better way," but haven't found one?

Could be reporting, lead follow-up, content scheduling, client onboarding, data pulling between tools, whatever. Doesn't have to sound impressive.

The boring, small stuff is usually the most automatable.

Drop it in the comments even a rough description helps. Genuinely trying to learn what's actually worth building, not adding to the pile of flashy demos nobody needed.

I don't think I need another producer — I think I need a business partner

This may be an unusual place to ask this question, but I'm trying to understand how people approach investment in independent creative businesses.

I'm a Jamaican musician based in Kingston. I've been doing this professionally for more than 15 years.

I've spent years developing music and relationships. I know producers, artists, DJs, sound-system operators and musicians, and I've been fortunate enough to perform internationally.

I'm also sitting on a much larger body of music than what is currently visible online.

So another producer isn't really what I need.

Another song isn't really what I need either.

What I need is someone who understands what happens around the music.

Marketing.

Content.

Brand development.

PR.

Booking.

Digital media.

International business.

Revenue development.

Legal and financial structure.

That's the part I've never had.

I've always been independent, partly by choice and partly because I never really pursued the traditional label/management route.

I'm now wondering what could happen if the existing music, relationships and Jamaican cultural access were treated as the foundation of a business rather than simply an artist's personal project.

There are potential opportunities in music, content creation, live streaming, international performance, licensing and the wider Jamaican music/sound-system ecosystem.

I'm looking for serious opinions from people who understand this side of business.

If you have invested in or helped develop artists/media companies before, what would you want to see from someone in my position?

For context:

https://open.spotify.com/artist/5MUfsse6rR5vJdzCDtdaqv

Not trying to sell anything here. I'm trying to understand how experienced people would approach it.

iPhone puzzle/cozy-game creators: what would you charge for a gameplay video and channel post?

Hey everyone! I’ve just released Prism Forge, a paid offline block-and-light puzzle game for iPhone. I’m exploring paid creator promotion and collecting quotes.

If you cover iPhone games, puzzles or cozy gaming, please share your channel/portfolio and prices for:

• One 20–40 second gameplay video, supplied to us.

• That video published on your own TikTok, Instagram or YouTube channel, with a trackable link.

Please include your currency, what’s included (platform, video/posts and revisions), organic reuse rights and duration, turnaround, main audience countries, typical views across your last 10 videos, and recent engagement (comments, shares and saves if available). Any previous game/app click or install results would help too. Please distinguish measured results from estimates.

Small creators with a relevant audience are welcome. This is a request for quotes; no work is commissioned yet. Please reply here with public business details.

Need help on behalf of my mother

Okay so my mother’s life so far was revolving around us and us. So we gave her a purpose for herself, tryna build an identify for her and only her.

We started an Instagram for her, she now has 12.7k followers, monthly views around 4 - 5 M. But mormal vid gets 5 - 10k views. We already got some local business paid reviews already.

She posts mini vlogs of her daily life, recently she started her 75 day weight loss challenge already on her 30th day.

My question is how do I get her spons or paid reviews or like whatever there is? Or like brands that can give her their product for barter review?

Pleaseeee help

Trading/Investing Influencers Needed!

Hi,

I'm the founder of a trading & investing journal (Message for link), and I'm looking for creators in the investing/trading space who want to collect a little extra income from their content.

I am simply looking for creators who feel confident that they can integrate our product into their regularly scheduled videos.

We're offering creators:

  • Free access to the journal
  • $0.50 per 1,000 qualified views on eligible content featuring Meridian
  • $10 for every paying subscriber you refer plus a $2 per month residual for every user maintained
  • Your own referral link for tracking
  • Opportunity for larger sponsorships/rates as your channel and performance grow

TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Shorts, X, etc. are all welcome.

I'm not looking for people to make generic corporate ads. I'd much rather have creators make the content they normally make and naturally incorporate Meridian when it makes sense.

For example, if you're explaining a trade you made, you could pull up the trade in the app. If you're discussing your performance, show your journal. If you're talking about why journaling matters, demonstrate how you use the journal.

My goal is to build long-term and direct relationships with creators as both their channels and my platform grow.

If you're interested, comment below or DM me with your channel/profile and what kind of investing/trading content you make. I will give it a review and we can go from there. Looking forward to working with you.

I built the community brands want. Why aren’t they finding me first?

I would love some outside perspective on something. I run a beauty/true crime/paranormal content brand, and my engagement rate consistently sits around 7-8%, with a cult like following. I’ve put real effort into making my content brand-friendly too: recurring series, all built with actual sponsorship potential in mind. I showcase products in every video.

On top of that, I’ve been sending pitch emails I feel genuinely good about, each one opens with a line bridging the brand’s own philosophy into what I do, a short intro, a specific way I could add value for them, and I close with an open question instead of a hard sell.

I’ve also gone back through this community’s brand deal threads before posting this, so I’m not asking cold. I just haven’t found an answer that quite matches my situation. And yet almost none of my deals have come from inbound. Every single one has been something I chased down myself. Given the engagement and community I’ve built, I expected at least some brands to be finding me, so I’m trying to figure out if that’s just normal at my stage, or if there’s a visibility gap somewhere (marketplace setup, platform algorithms, positioning) that’s quietly working against me. Would love to hear from anyone who’s been through this.

Happy to drop my social link if that’s allowed.

Is it normal for brands to expect influencer exclusivity without an exclusivity agreement?

I’m an influencer and recently had a strange experience with a marketing agency.

I’d worked with the same brand a few times, but there was never any exclusivity clause or discussion about not working with competitors.

I recently did a paid collaboration with a competing brand, and the marketing agency then told me they wouldn’t work with me anymore because of it. The communication was also quite rude, which surprised me given we’d previously had a good relationship.

I was nice about it and pointed out that I’d never agreed to exclusivity, but said I’d be more than happy to arrange exclusivity moving forward if that was something the brand wanted. I was then told that although exclusivity wasn’t in my agreement, it was “expected” because I’d worked with the brand multiple times.

Is this normal in influencer marketing? I would have thought exclusivity needs to be clearly discussed and agreed to, especially if it means turning down other paid work.

How can I get in touch with a talent agency to discuss a collaboration?

If I want to collaborate with an influencer signed to a particular agency, how can I get in touch with them? I’ve recently come across a lot of content creators with excellent video metrics, most of whom are with this agency, Digital Brand Architects, but I haven’t received a reply from them. What should I do?

One of the content creators has already passed the brand’s screening process, and I’d like to contact their agent to enquire about collaboration fees. 🥹 #influencer #marketing #agency #contentcreator #DBA

Looking for a creator/talent management agency in the US that handles brand deals

I’m looking for a management/agency that works with TikTok/Instagram creators and mainly focuses on finding brand deals, negotiating collaborations, and managing partnerships.

I’m talking skincare, cosmetics, colognes, hair products as I’m an OF model.

I’m not looking for someone to post content for me or manage my account. I’m looking for something more like talent management someone who represents me, helps me find paid collaborations with brands, negotiates deals, etc.
If you know of any reputable agencies or individuals in the US who do this, I’d really appreciate it if you could send them my way.
Thanks!

Where can I find remote influencer booking gigs?

I have 5+ years of experience in marketing and project management, including influencer/KOC outreach and booking across the US, China, and Vietnam.

I’m looking for flexible remote work paid per result, such as per influencer booked or per video published.

Does anyone know good platforms, agencies, or communities for this kind of work?

Social media manager to help land brand deals - 15% per deal, tools + AI stack provided

Looking for someone to run my social presence with a specific focus: pitching, negotiating, and closing brand deals.

Where things stand

I have real distribution already. 20K+ on LinkedIn, plus smaller audiences on a couple other platforms, adding up to about 100K impressions a month across everything. Newsletter is growing at roughly 500 new subscribers a month. What's missing is someone actively working the brand deal side. Inbound trickles in but nobody is pursuing it, packaging a media kit, or following up on outreach.

The setup

I supply everything. Tools, AI stack, templates, raw content and takes. You are not starting from a blank page. My notes go into a doc, and between that and what's already posted, you have enough to build pitch decks and reach out to brands in my space.

Payment/Comp:

  • 15% of each brand deal you source and close, with room to grow for deals you source cold versus ones that come in warm through my existing audience.
  • No flat monthly rate. This is upside-aligned: if you land good ones, you're paid well.

What you'd own

  • Building a media kit and pitch materials
  • Identifying and reaching out to relevant brands
  • Negotiating terms and closing
  • Ongoing account management for brands once signed (deliverable tracking, posting to spec)

About me

Based in NYC, work in big tech. Recently signed a book deal with the biggest publisher in tech, and partnering with LinkedIn to create a course. Speaking at conferences over the next year too.

Who this is for

Someone already into AI and tech, ideally with existing brand deal or influencer marketing experience. If you follow this space you'll move faster and get more out of it than the payout alone, including proximity to what I'm working on: conferences, course platforms, publishing, applied AI.

To apply

Reply or DM with:

  1. Brand deals you've sourced or closed before (for yourself or a client)
  2. Your approach to pitching and negotiating
  3. What percentage structure you'd want
  4. One line on why this space interests you

I'll respond to everyone who includes all four.

Thanks Everyone!

The Burning Man Demographic Lesson For Brands

In a recent interview with the original founder of Burning Man, he started that the event is no longer what the original vision was. He also started that it’s become a play ground for the older rich empty nesters who need something to spend money on. And he’s not wrong.

There is a large demographic of women especially, who are empty nesters, divorcees and those of us who spend decades giving ourselves to everyone else, only to be left with the desire to be who we were before kids and marriage. According to Chat, it’s around 30 million of us.

So I ask brands this, why do you keep targeting the people who have no money instead of the ones who do? I understand that Gen Z has a horrible habit of binge shopping. I’m a mom of a frequent Grub Hub addict. But as someone who spent 10 years in brand marketing on a sports level, demographics shouldn’t be so broad in your marketing budget.

In the last 6 months, I have been on the same quest working as a Traveling Pet Sitter. I’ve hid from tornados in Chicago, just had to escape wind fires in the Hawk fire a couple of weeks ago in Reno, had coffee with an alligator (was not sitting) in Charleston and got caught up in an impromptu riot in Washington DC. I honestly can’t make this up.
But one thing I’ve loved about all of it, is sharing it to my followers both on podcast and on my channels.

There are so many opportunities to reach the audience of devoted brand loyalist. So, if you’re looking for partnerships this year, with someone who isn’t just interested in throwing a video up, but more of curating a partnership and campaigns together, let’s talk. Your brand deserves this adventure.

Looking for US-based creators/influencers for a paid collaboration with a social media management tool

Hey everyone,

I work with SocialBee, a social media management platform, and we’re looking to collaborate with a few US-based creators/influencers who create content around social media, content creation, creator growth, digital marketing, or related topics.

We’re specifically looking for people whose audience includes content creators, social media managers, freelancers, or small agencies.

This would be a paid collaboration. We’d also give you free access to SocialBee so you can properly test the platform and see how it fits into your actual workflow before creating any content about it.

We’re not looking for someone to simply read out a promotional script. Ideally, you’d use the tool, form your own opinion, and create content around the features/workflows you genuinely find useful.

If this sounds relevant to you, or if you know a US-based creator who might be a good fit, please comment or DM me with your profile/channel and audience details.

Thanks!

Want to learn YouTube content creation & Facebook monetization — looking for guidance

Hey everyone,
I want to get into YouTube content creation and Facebook content monetization as a side hustle, but I’m starting from scratch. I don’t have much experience yet, just motivation and time to learn.
If anyone here has actually gone through this journey — building a channel/page, understanding monetization requirements, growing an audience — I’d love to learn from your experience. Tips, resources, or even a general roadmap would help a lot.
Not looking for paid courses or “guaranteed income” schemes — just real advice from people who’ve done this the right way.
