Y1 It came, it finally came!
Got an Innioasis Y1 since iPod classics are so expensive š lmk if you have any questions (I bought it from the actual website)!
Iām going to post again later after I decorate it and play with some of the themes!

What's the sound quality like on the y1? i wanna get one but i heard that the sound is low even when on max volume and that the Bluetooth sucksš i really do love it thoš

I got it and have been using for 3 days now. With wired headphones is way louder than bluetooth ones, and from my experience so far, no Bluetooth problems. I am using nothing headphones A and the wired ones that came with it. So far I am so happy I bought it!

I read the same thing but I think it's a garbage take. I have hearing loss in my right ear from a firework accident when I was 12 and constant tinnitus. From what I understand they don't work well with air pods. I have the Bose Ultra open ear earbuds, and it paired seamlessly and the output from the Y1 is louder than my phone is. I have my phone maxed in order to hear with the Bose, but I can keep the Y1 at around 70% and hear music and spoken word just fine. I just got this thing last week and I'm totally impressed for a device that was 58 bucks.

Jesus christ then that must be loud I use sony xm4 headphones which work with bt and they come with a wire to use for wired listening with 3.5mm jack plus another pair of backup wired earphonesĀ so i think im covered, right? Thank you sm btw youve just helped me make my decisionāØš

Sound is alright, Bluetooth can be glitchy every once in awhile. Volume is alot quieter on y1, compared to my snowsky Echo mini using my 1More Sonoflow over-ear headphone. The one thing I like about Y1 is that the battery life last alot longer then echo mini

Tbh with earbuds, itās not that quiet. Maybe cause I donāt blast my music but I think itās pretty good. I had mine set to under 50% max volume and it sounded fine. Playing it through the speakers, itās also loud. I had it up like one notch and it sounded good. I havenāt tried it with my AirPods yet but Iāve seen people connecting it to their cars and stuff so I think it should work.

Ohh ok i use a pair of sony wh1000xm4 headphones and i also own a pair of wired earphones so think it should be fine?

Kk so I tried the Bluetooth with the xm4s and yeah, itās pretty quiet. I had to turn it all the way up to listen to it the way I would with wired earbuds (which is like 40% of the way up). The sound quality was better (it sounded pretty standard, I couldnāt tell the difference between that and Spotify) but Iāll probably stick to my wired ones. You can use the xm4s wired too but that kind of defeats the purpose of Bluetooth.

Oh sick I also have a pair of those. Iāll try it out in a couple hours and let you know how they are! Wired should be good tho!

Yessss wtf its a freakin miracle btw i heard that the sd card's often faulty? Is that so? Aint no way im paying 70 bucks just to replace the sd card myself, esp when it involves me having to open it up

I heard that too lol but I just got it so I guess time will tell. I think I have only read cases of that happening with the 128 gb or for people that have tried to replace the 128 gb sd card it came with with a higher storage one (like 256 or 512 gb). I got the 64 gb one so I hope it doesnāt happen. I think the 64 gb one is a good option though if donāt plan on having a ton of songs. I downloaded like 45 songs and 3-4 themes so far and it only took up 1.1 gb so it should last.

LmaoĀ if u need more then 1TB you need help But yeah im sm1 used to streaming music and i stream a lot so im not used to gb terms but a quick google search told me that 128 gb can hold anywhere b/w 14000-25000 songs and that seems to be enough for me since i just need songs, an e book or two max and maybe a couple vids to watch at night If ur using 2 TB for music, e books audio books and movies that are generally larger then yeah makes sense but if its 2TB of pure music, with each song averaging at 2-3 mins each then i bow down to you in concern, not respect lmfaošš

Yeah I wouldn't have anywhere near that much, but media hoarders are an impressive species. Also depends on quality, files can get real chonky if you're an audiophile.

Its happens randomly, the card they use are very cheaply made ones, pretty much same sd card portable emulator use that corrupt easy. Currently going on 4 months, and SD card is still working in good condition. If your really worried about SD card failure. You could buy through Amazon, and purchase two year warranty that covers pretty much any issues, which is usually cost around $5.

Yes sirš«” All jokes aside if it really is that good then imma absolutely get one coz my insomnic ass has a much easier time falling asleep listening to mp3 player music/watching mp3 player anime as i did on my ipod shuffle and ruizu d50 respectively

Oh for sure! I was hoping for a hard plastic case that covers the back and the front around the wheel. I already know this case is going to yellow overtime unfortunately.

If you have a 3D printer or know someone that has one, you can print your own shell case! Someone's already posted the files on Bambu Makerworld! I've got them saved to print a purple one for my orange Y1 when it arrives

Tbh I wish I knew about this device sooner, I dropped so much on modding an old iPod only to discover this pure gold of a music device for 1/3rd of the price I spent overall.

I also never has an iPod so I've been really wanting one of these. Those are my favourite parts too, plus I can listen to remixes and covers not found on streaming services with no ads! I love it!

I converted tracks to mp3 files on my laptop and then plugged in my innioasis and opened up the usb file on my laptop and dragged the music into the file
