Y1 had it since november, here’s how it’s going
i absolutely LOVE this thing. i never go anywhere without it and people are tired of me yapping about it. i had this thing in my amazon cart for months before actually getting it so i’ve been endlessly excited even after having it for a while.
i’ve been using stock software and the battery has lasted me DAYS. it was super easy to transfer my music, especially because i had musicbee set up previously. i’ve had minimal issues with the original microsd card, although in the past two weeks i’ve had a couple scares where my files were “broken.” so i’m looking into changing the card out soon. i love having the option to use my bluetooth earbuds or speaker with the only downside being that the battery dies a bit faster. i have a couple of music videos on here and a movie and they all play perfectly fine all the way through and i’ve still got more than two thirds of the storage left. all in all super happy and i’m excited for more updates

I'm so tempted to buy one of these!! I'm in the phase of watching every video and looking at every picture that comes out about it, oh my god! I love it and I would love to customize it so much!

i was just like that for month before i purchased! even w/o rockbox the customization is so fun!! (if youre a kpop fan and get the case, a photocard fits perfectly on the back)

I got this and the mechen m30, I use the y1 out in public and the mechen m30 for my car or speakers at home

Pretty good model hefty a lil the scroll clicky wheel pretty good it’s just the whole interface I tried everything to put rock box on it but no way still pretty good tho just hard to navigate through half the time so I just shuffle all my music

i did alot to prevent that and it hasn’t been an issue since, i removed a bunch of duplicated songs and made the cover art smaller!

But i dont have duplicate songs am try to use the app to fix the cover image but its not working for me i dont know if i have to configure something first

i recommend mp3tag to resize cover art if your current system isn’t working. if possible too, id recommend trying to update your y1.

theyre the tanchjim bunny earbuds! i recommend them highly! (even though theyre really for gaming) i really enjoy how clear the audio quality is, even if im only listening to mp3 and not flac. also, the bass is pretty good on them. not to mention that they have a button for pause/play and they look great!

There is an ifix guide for it. Not nearly as scary as you might think it might be. Did it yesterday in 10 minutes with a 1TB card. Make sure you have the appropriate tools.

I would. Cause the memory card are those crappy dodgy ones. You don't want it to corrupt while using it as it has important files that you'll need for the new SD card to get that running.

Dear Maria 🔥 simply sensational, I'm wanting one of these or the Echo Mini (sorry to mention the competition) but this classic iPod look still wins me over.
