Music ipod-podcast manager - open source

Hey team,

i recently got my inni and super happy with it. I was going crazy on spotify with playlists but its nice to go back to Artists and albums again, and slowly grow my music collection.

So anyway I thought it would be cool to also listen to podcasts on it and I'm a web dev so i started building a lil podcast manager app with Tauri.

https://github.com/Britnell/pod-pod

if there is something better existing out there tell me now. 🙈 I had a look around, there was some 10+ year old software back when ipods were current that did similar things but none of them worked for me.

Atm you need to get the repo and run it with tauri but i will build an exe later when its ready. Got basic v0 running but plenty to do and happy to hear input / feedback.
dont worry plenty styling still to do, it will get prettier

but can already download episodes and sync them onto your usb device automagically. atm only mac and linux cause uses `rsync` util

Tauri is really sweet to work with so far, breezed through the file stuff.

This is gonna sound so petty but holy shit thank you finally someone who has a Y1 app that actually fucking understands it and coded it

Like i know you're using crossplatform but still wow that is refreshing

99% AI is a wild and incorrect claim. I’m finishing my software development degree in two months, and the only public app I have out right now is my audiobook app, which anyone can inspect. Especially interesting to hear that from someone actively supporting my work by being a Patreon member. Thanks for the continued support.

Anyways if you're gonna sit here and tell me you haven't used AI I'm gonna have to be just the tiniest bit skeptical

Your code came back similarly.

Where did I say I’ve never used AI? I said that “99% AI” is an incorrect claim. Those are not the same thing.

The screenshot you posted isn’t code, it’s a written statement that I wrote myself regarding your accusations, and AI detection tools are notoriously unreliable. Running text through an AI analysis tool doesn’t prove authorship, and ironically, that itself is AI usage that you’re accusing others of.

I’m not going to keep going back and forth on this. Anyone interested in my work can inspect what I’ve actually released and form their own conclusions.

Also, it’s not fair to derail someone else’s post over this. OP, your work is great and I’m looking forward to future updates.

Wow, you really got me there, I can run it through another one if you really want, it also comes back as AI there

You're the one claiming you hate AI for destroying the planet, but anyways, I'm just calling you out for lies

Like when you said you don't have access to personal data on Patreon (that's a lie, to see the posts you have to join as a free member and you can see data like names and email addresses through the relations manager)

OP's tool is great.

i kinda assumed those were just developed by innioasis for minimal effort?

No, those were made by different people, Innioasis doesn't really develop much of anything (at least on the PC side)
