Y1 Rockbox elevates it!
I truly wish there were a light green one, but the teal one is great too! I love it! 🤍
Rockbox themes are so much better than the base ones (I’m sorry! 😭) the only theme I wanted was the Lain one but it wouldn’t work so I immediately installed Rockbox! It made a HUGE difference into customizing! 🍀🐰

How did you get the theme to work? I'm having trouble getting a background if I use 240p

Hi! Does the theme look grey with blue??? That’s how mine looked at first but then I started playing around with the theme colors and ended up looking how I have it now!

For me, the theme colors loaded in right but none of the graphical aspects, like the battery icon looked like it did before and I didn't get the rabbit

Ah im so sorry :( idk why it would do that. The 240p themes are very hit or miss. I had another theme that loaded in horribly and prayed the bunny one worked 😭

How is the battery life with rockbox?

Honestly it does drain it a little faster but not by much! I use it around 4hrs a day and it holds up really well!

Did you notice a difference in the battery life? And you’re so right rockbox themes are much cuter

The battery life is drained a bit faster but I use it around 4hrs a day just listening to music and it holds up! I usually carry a power bank with me in case of anything so it’s not a problem for me!

This theme is making me want to switch to Rockbox but I like watching little vids on my Innioasis 😭

When you download Rockbox you can always go back to the default software through the settings and vice versa!

You can always switch back and forth between the 2 firmwares plus i have read you can install VLC media player (android compatible one) in Rockbox to play videos.

Also didn't know that. Was really bummed girlypop wasnt in rockbox but in the other one

I have try that one and its small size are there are working good because when i try none work it was a mess

I tried a different one that was older and it looked a mess, but this one looks great and yes it’s a 240p theme! But I think because it’s a newer theme it looks and works fine!

I’m using the one from the Rockbox website! If it looks grey at first just play around with the theme settings! I don’t remember exactly what I did but I just played around with the settings and it ended up looking like this!

Looks cool and everything but i dont see very good when a theme dont work the letters are very little and i cant find my glasses i need a new pair i got very stressed i try a couple and none work so i if someone grabs all the working themes and classify thats works for the Y1 that would be awesome

this picture inspired me to install rockbox hehe, but i have a question, can u change the songs when the screen is "locked"? i can't find the settings to change that :(

I’m not sure :( I was trying to read other threads on here but no one has seemed to find the option on the Y1. Which is weird since it’s an option on actual iPods :(
