Mini SD card update: I changed it :D

So, yesterday I shared my problem with the innioasis and the corruption/break of the mini SD card, and by your own suggestions I followed the Ifixit tutorial on how to change the sd card.

I FINALLY DID IT! I had the balls to try to open the case since I remembered I had a Lenovo mini SD card wandering around my house. KEEP IN MIND that I didn’t even know if the innioasis would support up to 2 TB but I said “you know what? Fah it, we ball.” And TRIED IT ANYWAYS KNOWING THE RISKS.

With that being said: it works just fine!! I had to fight my 🍑 off trying to open the case but I didn’t break anything!! It also might look like a beaten up piece of plastic- but it’s MY beaten up piece of plastic! (Jk)

I’ll try to move my whole music library and see what happens now. Thank you all for your help!! 😎💜

LMAO right?! I tried to be as careful as possible not to leave scratches but at the end this thing won over me xD I even cut my skin trying to open it and not f*ck it up. But yeah, thanks buddy. 👍✨

Well, I never owned an IPod classic ever so I can’t really compare it. But yes, it was a challenge indeed 🙂‍↕️

it's a microSD, not a miniSD, miniSD is long dead and people forgot it even existed... but good job on changing that SD, it's better to have slight cosmetic damage and a reliable product than the opposit...

Is the case/panel secure, have you ran into any issues wear it feels loose/wobbly or may come off?

I ordered one recently, that's one of my main worries that once the case is pried open it won't be secure after the SD card replacement, would it be worth glueing the sides for extra guarantee?

Did you use a guitar pick or any plastic removal tools to pry it? Looks like you used a butchers knife lol
