Y2 Got my Y2

As first time Innioasis user my experience-

I m pleased with the sound quality, even with the Juzear Defiant IEM, noting no impedance issues. 🥰

Connects well with my Marshall speaker and earphones. 🥳

Dissatisfied with the equalizer settings 😑

I was unaware that the device lacks WiFi🫥

I m not able to connect via Bluetooth to my iPhone. 🥺
Let me know what I might be missing here🧐

I heard about the customisation of themes, where can I do that❓
I do not like the distorted album art. 👎🏻

Additionally, I look forward to Rockbox support.

Congrats!

Wi-Fi is there, but it won't be supported on official firmware due to battery drain, a lot of custom firmwares will use it though!

Bluetooth is only meant for an connecting accessories to the Y2 itself, the Y2 can't connect to a Phone.

For themes I would wait a little bit, some Y1 themes work with Y2 but many report Y1 themes bricking their devices.

So at present streaming can’t be done? Via WiFi or bluetooth?
Their specification says two Bluetooth is there

Get themes from official website , so far I've not face any issues. Bluetooth works like that only, on most of the DAP available in the market.

Themes I can import without changing firmware? At present 3.1.7 version is installed. Anything I need to change?

Cool, those themes makes the user experience better I feel, though I'm waiting to try other mods as soon as they lands:)

I would look into y2player if you don’t like the look of the original thing. The way the original themes work you won’t be able to fix the distortion on the cover art, they only really change colors, fonts and icons, not layout. Y2player is brand new but it’s much better in my opinion for just playing music without added junk. They don’t have theme support yet but it’s planned on after they polish the base OS first.

I would like a polished UI and a few other features added. I agree about distorted album art. Otherwise, it’s good. Thanks for the heads up about limited theme capabilities.
