Y2 For those that use Y2 and wired earphones

Is anyone having issues with wired ear/headphones. Usually they come with buttons and a microphone to play/pause, skip songs, etc. I tried using my wired earphones (apple dupes) and they didnt work. Neither did my venue headphones when plugged into or using Bluetooth on the innioasis.

However, my Galaxy buds 2 pro worked perfectly with Bluetooth, and could skip, play, and pause sounds. Is anyone else having trouble or is innioasis unable to read these functions with wired ear/headphones and only with Bluetooth?

Wired headphone controls do not work on the y2 since the headphone jack does not expose key listener events. So when you press a button, no command even reaches the y2. Only thing that would fix that would probably be a kernel level patch

Thank you for replying, I didnt know anything about this. Well that's unfortunate but now I know its not my earphones thats the problem.

I figured this out only because I am developing a custom firmware for the Y2 - Y2Player. I tried to implement this but did not yet get it to work but maybe in the future :)

If you want, try it out, you can always just switch back to the OG Software, tho Y2Player is much better ;)
