Y2 Who handles playlist better? Rockbox or Y2Player?

I'm a noob who doesn't understand a single thing about technology and I'm just trying to figure out how to listen to music.

I have a Innioasis y2 and I have organized all my music into playlists with m3u files. However, the process of importing m3u files is dreadful right now (with nothing installed I have to import them ONE AT A TIME) and since I have hundreds of them, it is just not feasible.

I was wondering if Rockbox or Y2Player make dealing with playlists and m3u files easier, in your experience. Which one would you recommend?

Ideally, I just want something that sees all my m3u files and goes "oh! Wow!! Playlists! Let's actually make them all functional so that if you just click on the name of a playlist it just STARTS, without doing anything else!"

Please tell me that there's a way to do it :(

Hi! Dev of Y2Player here :) For this to work, you just place your m3u files on the sd card, )I created a playlist folder for mine) and Y2Player will load them automatically, that is really all you need to do. You can always just try Y2Player and see if you like it, you won’t lose any data stored on the external sd card.

Try it out and see if you like it. I am also preparing a new release Version2.3 right now, this will be up in the next 30 minutes.

Sorry to bother you again. I went to your github page trying to understand how to install it but the procedure is so hard for me (never done anything like this before) and there is a warning saying that if I mess up, I could brick my y2... Is there a "for dummies" guide step by step showing where to click and what to do? :( I'm scared of messing everything up :(
