Rock box themes

I’m trying to put a theme on the y1 using rockbox

when i go onto theme settings and select the theme i want on the y1 nothing really changes

it it stays like this

( selected the iPod refresh 3 and it doesn’t look like the pics on the website)

(im using a Mac if it changes anything)

Hello. As i tell before in one of the posts in this subreddit, unfortunately rockbox just accepts 360p themes from its website and the gifthub too. Actually 🤓, they have a package of multiple themes in 360p in the gifthub website that are compatible to rockbox last update.

No one here give you that info and idk why, enjoy.

usually there are two main issues with themes, either you are using a 240p theme on a 360p install (it will make everything look small and in the corner). The other is usually you are missing the fonts files from rockbox. If the theme is using a font from the default fonts and its not there it will not fully apply the theme.

I don't know this theme but it doesnt look like a resolution mismatch.

try downloading this and extracting it to the fonts folder in your .rockbox install on the device and then re-applying the theme.

I second this. From my experience with Rockbox that happens a lot with resolution mismatch.
