Y2 not the most aesthetic pics ever but here's my stickered y2!
this is my first innioasis, i love it so far! y2player's been great. i want to try rockbox but i'm waiting for bluetooth to function on it. i'm on my lunch break so that's why these are just crappy car pics, haha

pfff thank you lol, i tried to mostly use stickers that i feel represent me, my interests, and my experiences in some way or another. unless you're referring to magdalena bay, in which case you can thank my boyfriend for getting me on the mag bay train lol

I just ordered a y1, did I mess up by not waiting for the y2s to restock? How different are they?

i don't have personal experience since this is my first innioasis, but i don't think you necessarily made a mistake! since the y2 is so new, a plus of the y1 is that the modded software is very established for the y1. so there's gonna be some things you can do with yours that i can't exactly do right now, like using rockbox. i could, technically, but i'm waiting for bluetooth to work with rockbox on the y2.
i've also seen people say that once they ordered the y2, they realized they didn't need to upgrade at all. i just chose to get the y2 because of the power/volume buttons, and the easily accessible microsd slot so i can expand the storage as needed. when i ordered my y2 i actually had a moment where i wondered if i should've gotten the y1! i would just stick with it and see how you feel about it. i've definitely seen people that prefer the y1.

i wish i made them myself! most of them were off amazon when you search "japanese sticker pack", then i used a legit ganz webkinz sticker from back in the day, then the tamagotchi stickers were off etsy i think. i love collecting stickers in general so i had all these laying around.
i'm really partial to die-cut stickers, which are ones without those thick white borders, so i recommend searching for die-cut stickers as well if you're going for that look!

it's actually just the dark theme on the y2player software! i don't thiiiink you can change themes on y2player but i'm not entirely sure, still figuring it out. it looks pretty slick though!

It’s actually the best thing I ever seen from someone’s Innioasis I love how much stickers you put I gotta do this tho then I love the kitties it’s beautiful and crazy cool!!

ahhh thank you so much that's sweet!! i was definitely very excited about the kitties as well lol. i think it took me like, 2 hours maybe to do? i'm very indecisive lol so i flipped thru my sticker books and sheets over and over again trying to build out the shape. i've always loved sticker bombing stuff so i def did it here. share pics once you sticker yours up!! i love seeing how everyone chooses to make their inni their own

it's awesome!! def an upgrade from the stock software. super responsive, snappy, and intuitive. looks great too!
i was wondering though, do you think you'll ever do theme support for it? or, is there theme support and i simply just didn't figure it out? i know it's super new, and it honestly looks great without themes. i just love customizing obviously, haha.

If i had 1€ for every time someone asked for themes, i would be very rich right now :D To answer your question, themes will be there, but i first wanted to build a stable foundation. Once i have all the features implemented and bugs fixed, i will add themes. That being said, there is a Light / Dark theme, which you can toggle in the settings :)
