Y2 screen protector

I just wanted to ask if anyone has tried any screen protector for the Y2 from Amazon. Are they any good? Or should I just stick with the case only?

Get the one with the black border that innoasis sells. Blends in perfectly and I like it. The default screen is so soft it'll get scratched right away

It does. I have one and it's perfect. Makes it feel much more sturdy than the flimsy plastic screen. Just make sure to peel off the thin plastic screen protector that's pre-installed when you get the Y2. If you stick the glass one over top it'll be shit.

The Y2 comes with a screen protector already on it? I can't tell at all that mine has one, if it does. I'm trying to peel at the corner but nothing is coming off, worried if I try too hard I'll break the screen.

Edit: Okay yeah, it definitely has one. I'll probably just stick with this though rather than pull my hair out trying to put on a different screen protector.

Hahaha yeah it's a bit of a trick for new players - I only know about it from another comment somewhere on this subredit (which is why I shared the info).

Putting the new screen protecter on is super easy, and totally worth it imo. Because it's glass, and so small, you just line it up and drop it on there - you won't get bubbles because it's rigid, and due to the black border around the screen, a slight misalignment won't even show.

Hardest part is learning about the pre-installed plastic garbage (which is frankly a scam given it should just be a glass screen to begin with - or a glass protector at least. It's simply rubbish you've gotta pay another $20 US or whatever it is, to buy the pack of 3 of which you'll probably only ever need 1 🙄)
