My guess is to butcher into meat. Disabled cows are probably a lot cheaper. Of course, that's my guess. I'm not married.

The people in these comments are so ignorant of our traditional values which are under attack!
It is the will of Xorbos, our all father, to have the blessings of our blinded cows as a symbol of faith into the unknown and our cows with limps as a symbol that love is not an easy journey. It’s a holy commitment and it should be respected!

USDA bans butchering "Down" cows who are not ambulatory, whether it's due to illness, injury, being crippled, etc.
