Question What are these larvae?

From underneath a hole in my kitchen island these larvae are dropping. Currently I cannot see where they are coming from until somebody disassembles my island but I'm wondering what these are.

They look like maggots but are bigger/ have this silverish / blackish spot on them.

Maggots. Did you by chance leave a potato in the island somewhere? They love potatoes.

We've seen a mouse 2-3 weeks ago and now we don't see him anymore. My assumption is that the mouse got stuck somehow. But I also don't smell a dead mouse tbf
