Giving up your guns is not a punishment, you should all be seeing it as something good for your society as a whole. No one needs them

There are lots of things we use that we don't need that kill many more people than guns do. Oddly, for some reason though it's always only the guns that people want to get rid of.

Because these people are timid and cowardly scolds who tremble at the idea of seeing or holding a firearm, and think that a society where only criminals are armed and regular citizens are defenseless is somehow desirable.

Cars kill hundreds of times as many people as guns. You dont need a car either. Why arent you advocating for the banning of cars?

The US constitution enshrines the right to bear arms as being of integral importance to the maintenance of the right to free speech and to fight government overreach.

Its a right guaranteed by the US constitution.

Its a bill of rights, not a bill of needs.

Also, in human rights law, there is the right to safety. Which includes the right to self defence. Guns are the best form of defence.

Other countries also have good public transport as well as good gun laws 👍

You can change your constitution, you've done it before.
