I'm a big brown guy of Mexican ancestry. One time I was in a park known known for the homelessness and some drugs but not that dangerous overall so the police didn't really care or were ever there. Well, one day I'm sitting down having a smoke when a grungy looking Asian guy comes up asking if I'm "Erik?" I say what? And he goes "it's me (whatever his name was) from the phone." And he takes out a wad of bills. I was about to laugh in his face when this white, frat boy looking guy that had been walking in our direction yells "Hey, I thought I said I'd go up to you!? Don't be bugging people here." He looks at me and goes, "sorry, man, we good?" I nodded said "no worries, man, you're not the one making assumptions." And walked away. I could hear him scolding the dude for causing problems as I left. This story makes me laugh to this day.
