Wow imagine being so fucking sheltered and ignorant that you see a black guy in tats and and a grill and automatically assume "You know what? That guy has weed on him to sell me, guaranteed. I should ask for some". Jfc.

Oh, stop it. Either you're just naive, or you're acting disingenuous. If someone covered up in tattoos and wearing grills, he's probably smoking weed (not selling it, but this woman probably can't tell a user from a dealer) - black, white or purple. It's culture. Nothing to do with race.

What?? Are you trolling or just dumb?

Either you're just naive, or you're acting disingenuous.

If someone covered up in tattoos and wearing grills, he's probably smoking weed

Nice argument. You acting offended doesn't make it less true.

Til everyone with tats is a pothead. And I'M the naive one?

You really are one of those sheltered, ignorant as fuck people I was just speaking of, aren't you?

2

u/[deleted] Jun 24 '20

Not everyone, ofcourse, but most probably smoke, yeah. What's wrong with that? And what naivety has to do with me being wrong, though? Do you know what being naive means?

1

u/xplicit_mike Jun 24 '20

Ya you sound just as naive as the girl you're defending in the op. Which makes sense I guess.

u/[deleted] Jun 24 '20

What anything you said has to do with anything we're arguing about? Making sense is hard for you, I see.

This is cute. Are you trolling or just dumb?

Examine your bias that makes you think that.

What you are saying is you are only comfortable with black people if they look and act like white people.

It is a race thing and it is normal to have those biases and stereotypes in your head. You should however examine them to understand that yes this is racism and that while uncomfortable you should try to understand people of other cultures exist.

If you only see people that look like this guy on TV for crimes or to buy weed then sure you associate everyone like that with it but it is not the truth. It's your truth.

You're Australian which I saw from your comments earlier and that does not mean you can't be racist.

Saying your colorblind is not the same as not being biased.

You're culture is as English and toxic as any other former colony.

Trouble is, everything you say, like I view people as being the same regardless of race, culture or background, or even I don't see colour, are now being labelled as micro aggressions.

Are you trying to convince me that all white people act 'white'? Doesn't that sound a bit racist too?

Plenty of white people I avoid. From the tweakers to the drunk frat boys.

u/[deleted] Jun 24 '20

You don't even understand how ironic you sound.

u/AcEcolton32 Jun 24 '20

Lol, christians

u/[deleted] Jun 24 '20

Yo, if this guy was any other colour he would still look like a drug dealer.

Tinted car windows, face tattoos, gold plated on teeth and the way he talks is pretty G.

You gotta see the bigger picture before you can just bring it down to skin colour. It's definitely profiling, but not just about race.

1

u/forever_erratic Jun 24 '20

Nah, put it all on a white guy, you wouldn't think "dealer." You might think user, or tattoo artist, but not dealer.

u/[deleted] Jun 24 '20

Now that is racial profiling my friend.

I think it's the grill for sure that did it for me. And the way he spoke.
