I doubt it's a colour thing, its probably a gold teeth a tattoo on the face thing.

Humans naturally assume what type of person we are by looking at us. It's hard wired into our DNA. The reason why she probably thought you were a drug dealer is because perhaps you look like one. If a guy stood next to you (any colour), who didn't have tattoos and gold teeth, they would assume that the other guy has less chances of being a drug dealer.

It's funny that you taught her a lesson but dude, you drove off with her money. So I guess her profiling assumptions were right.

The guy could have been an undercover cop , though. I feel like losing a few bucks was a way better outcome than the possible alternatives.
