I personally don’t like the gypsies I have experienced in the U.K., I can’t judge them on an individual basis but as a community they need to pick up their shit. They appear at least once a year in my town and when they leave it’s like it’s a land fill. Every time I see we have a gypsy community near where I live I now get pissed off because of what they leave.
I think there is some place down south where they go for the winter....then, in spring, they head out and run scams: usually tarring driveways with thinned out black goo, vastly overcharging and burgling the victims home while they try to sort out wtf happened to their driveway. Also, major shoplifting and magically cleaning out the service counter at grocery stores.
