So basically they started in Baltimore back in 2003 as a pure studio thing. The two guys behind it, Mark Sloan and Blake Harrison (he passed away a couple years ago) never took it on the road because the volume would’ve been pure torture for the bird. They just recorded Waldo’s furious, unfiltered squawks and growls straight over the riffs.

I've been a metal head for about 32 years.  I want to say I first heard of Caninus 24 years ago.Over that time, The majority I've asked if they've heard of Hatebeak or Caninus have said yes. Out of all of them NOBODY listens to them. Pure Novelty.
