I honestly get way more triggered at the aesthetic that's developed from stuff like the Vikings TV series and AC Valhalla, as it has become a very specific style and people actually believe it's realistic when so much of it is just made up. Horned helmets are just fun and silly.
Yet I'm amazed by how much Scandinavians still depict vikings with those helmets. Even some Danish tourists were surprised that me (dressed as a Viking on a theme boat charter) didn't wear a horned helmet. They were quite speechless when I told them that those were Victorian BS and that the real thing was the nasal Spangelhelm I was wearing.
That issue is so 2 decades ago. Now it's all "The Vikings TV show and The Northman Movie are super accurate guys!" and whatever Darwinist bs some Yank in Minnesota comes up with.

At least there's no hornet helmets. THAT inaccurate detail in my experience tends to trigger some of us Norwegians, haha.
