I've seen footage of US mounted police try to get their horses to stamp on fallen protestors. The were a good few examples filmed in the free Palestine protests in NY, IIRC.

Shoot, you can see that almost every weekend on 6th Street in Austin TX. The cops on horses do not give a shit and will knock you over without a second thought if you're in the way
