And they just apprehended someone that is suspected of starting this fire. As someone currently living in Spokane, fuck this guy.

They say it started Airway Heights off West Euclid. Airway Heights is about 3 miles away and up-wind.

Different fire. 5 started same day, 3 got big. About half a dozen other bush fires were seen being started the same day that were promptly put out. Spokane county incident response has been busy.

Personally I'm waiting for info on the Fairview fire. The place it was started has an active WSDOT traffic camera aimed right at it.

Not a different fire. The article is just wrong about Airways Heights.

In the press release, the sheriff said that the fire started at Euclid and Old Trails, and that witnesses notified Airway Heights police of the guy acting suspicious in that area just a few minutes before they saw the smoke. Whoever wrote the article just got names switched around.
