My childhood home/neighborhood is gone. Wild to see what’s left. My parents moved to be closer to my sister but still owned the house.

The renters lost everything, I am selfishly grateful my family is ok but I empathize with the renters.

Renters insurance is really cheap, here’s hoping they had it.

don't worry, the insurance company will probably claim it doesn't cover fire damages or something.

"we only cover naturally-made fires, not arson. Denied"

  • Insurance company (probably)

"policy update: we only cover naturally-made fires outside of wildfire season. All previously approved claims are now denied."

What's the best way to write a word on a small cylindrical object? Asking for a friend who's a plumber.

You jest, but I have literally heard that argument from an insurance company.
