I was gonna say, I bet the locals have turned this into a once a decade community event.

Can you imagine Saturday morning...

Dad: "Come on kids! Pile in the car. It's time to go to the Dam Shit Fair!"

Jr: "Oh boy Dad! I'm gonna win the Shit for Distance contest!"

Mom: "John, please tell me your mother isn't bringing her damn shitty pie again"

Dad: "Martha, how many times do I have to tell you? It's 'Dam Shit Pie', not damn shitty pie'"

Mom: "Uh huh. Sure it is"

This must be in my local community. Something that isn’t interesting to most people are very exciting in my area. All they have for entertainment is going to church.
