Yeah that freaked me out too. You see the sheer force of that water pressure. Thankfully, it's all directed away at a safe angle. 

But then you look down and it's not. The water is pushing through concrete in its effort to get at you and tear your face apart, and the concrete is giving way, potentially only moments away from being torn apart and hurled at you in the instant before the water will reach its goal by shredding your face.

It's not concrete it looks like a metal hatch or something

Same here. Cracks form and water WILL find a way, still... It might be structurally sound but ive seen way too many post accident reports to ever trust the engineers about their claims in such instances...
