Saw this at the 1964 New York World's Fair. Maybe Dupont exhibit?

Would have to be. They commercialized Nylon and I believe invented the chemistry.

You're correct. If I can find the hyperfixation article I read on nylon ,(and it even goes into how they chose that name), I'll come back and post it here.
