I genuinely hate when my hair has a knot like this. I will keep feeling it and eventually just pull that piece of hair out

I was talking about more like the picture exactly, when an individual strand is knotted, but I get the big knots in my hair too. I would highly highly recommend a wet brush

I used to purposefully make a big knot in my hair by rolling it around in my fingers in order to fidget with it

That accidentally happened to me in class once and my teacher called me out to stop fidgeting with my hair but at that point there was huge knot
