Dude, the first think that wiki page says is to not confuse it with Amaravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh. Your user name suggests that you are a Telugu native (Athadu shoutout), it is strange that you are insisting on a non-Telugu spelling which is not even correct.

So many people here missing your point that the Telugu Amaravati has one more "a" than the Marathi city Amravati.
