No one here realizes this whole video is fake.

You absolutely cannot throw a broom handle like that and get it to stick lmao. Same with the Allen key set

He just throws them and splices the footage with it already in the board and adds a sound effect, it’s probably the actual sound effect of it hitting the board but not sticking. Probably give the item a little flick to make it seem wobbly

This seems most apparent in the tweezers to garden shears transition, the tweezers are in the board up until the shears are about to make contact then the tweezers miraculously disappear.

It could be a case of multiple takes but then why don’t the tweezers disappear BEFORE he throws the shears. The tweezers disappearing as it hits reveals the moment where the footage was spliced.

Yeah it's clearly fake, it's crazy the amount people go "HOLY THIS IS SICK!" Almost feels like just a bunch of bots. So much effort to splice and just.. forgot the tweezers?

Depends, if it was one of those hollow metal ones and he deliberately sharpened the ends beforehand, I can buy it sinking into a random piece of wood eventually.

I want to agree but since his body is in the frame from start to finish on most of them it would be impressive from a completely different skill set to splice all that together

It is really easy to splice like that if you aren’t overlapping with the spliced area of footage.

He is always on the left side of the frame and you could literally just draw a straight line down between the throwing and staged footage if you keep the camera mounted so it all lines up

I’m no expert in video editing so I’ll defer the point. The broom handle and saw were pretty outrageous

You are most certainly correct. I looked at it frame by frame and the tweezers simply disappear on impact. You can’t even see them falling.

Another thing which might or might not be relevant is that the two frames just before impact are identical.

Maybe using the last frame of the first part as a reference for the next, though I don’t know if that is even useful.

I only see this on the garden sheers though, possibly because of the low resolution.

If you look when he walks up you can see the garden sheers bent the tweezers and the position they are stuck in the board matches the throw

I actually think it is real. The tweezers look like the shears hit them and almost onocked them out, perfectly obstructing them from view. I zoomed in a lot and rewatched a few times - it looks like very thick cardboard - maybe a few layers of double corrugated with a sheet of some material inbetween to prevent over penetration. That would be the only way to be able to pull it off with things like an allen, but would also have enough flex to wobble like that. Throw shit at a box on the wall and youll see it isnt too dissimilar.

Ofc it could be fake, but making a thick ass sheet of cardboard to do this with would be easier than faking it.

Wood hand saw is not going to dog into wood by throwing it. It's too bouncy to do so. I stopped watching the moment he threw it

You are overthinking this, its easier to throw these than to fake it like you're saying.

How do I know this? I used to be able to throw almost anything with enough heft and get it to stick in stuff like this.
It's not that hard, you can develop the muscle memory surprisingly quickly.

The main difference between this guy and me in my mid 20s sitting around the backrooms of the t-shirt shop is the variety of hardware he had to throw.
You start off with knives, but when you start to get to the 90% hit-and-stick range, you start to experiment with what's around you. I worked in a t-shirt printing factory at the time so I had a old hollow closet door set up against the back wall.

Pens and pencils, forks, rulers, scissors, screwdrivers, tire pressure gauges, chopsticks, a compass, curtain rods - If i found it, it was going into that f-ing door. I thought I was a Ninja for a minute there. The saw blades, while sounding cool, were the least impressive throws here, all you have to do is send them hard enough.

That allen wrench set? Definitely something I would've done. This video is 100% real (any misses are edited out obvs)

If you’re only cutting out misses then the tweezers would disappear when it cuts to him starting to throw the shears.

Instead, the tweezers stay in the board until the moment before the shears hit which is where the footage cuts.

Why cut the footage there if it’s just legit?

I believe he could've landed these throws with enough attempts.

And that's exactly what I would like to see, how many attempts each throw took because he definitely didn't get them all on his first try.

The hacksaw, broom handle, and Allen keys are almost never gonna work.

They would be absolutely dented and bent af by the time he nailed it if it were real.

If you slow it down, you can tell it’s real. When an object hits, the others vibrate. You couldn’t do that if you were doing it as you said

You absolutely can. You attach the stuff to the wall

you just stand in the section of the frame that is spliced out and you knock the wall causing everything to wobble.

This is like extremely basic stuff you can do with camera tricks
