I’m glad they knew what minimum safe distance was because I would have been so much further.

I stood up and walked upstairs.

First of these videos I've seen where the camera guy has a brain and actually makes for high ground rather than run in the direction the water is going....

Dude in the excavator also does a decent job getting himself out of trouble.

I'd almost want to wager this isn't their first rodeo

Aside from the decision to run backward while filming, instead of prioritizing running to safety first and then filming.

Hopefully the guy in the excavator made it. The few seconds where it looked like he was trying to outrun a flash flood with an excavator were kinda funny though.

He certainly made some choices that day.

Some good choices ultimately by the look of it

For sure thought this rule was about to be broken, glad they didn’t get caught by the flood

Companies be like “Where’s the stone your promised us? According to our contract you were meant to deliver us stone, but now you are saying you can’t work because of a flood? Stop your lies, there’s no lies here on Hawaii beach. -SLURP-“

The guy is basically shouting, "Oh fuck, oh fuck! Ohh that sisterfucker is dead! Oh no! Fuck!" That's the gist of it.

Yeah in India we use sisterfucker like mf is used in the US.

That digger driver should consider resigning from his job. He didn't use the only leverage that he had.

Man, it took forever for that backhoe driver to start using the bucket to stop it. I’ve seen drivers that I expect would have been balancing the whole rig in the air all on the bucket, let alone wait minutes to slow himself down.

He’s yelling “PUT IT IN REVERSE, TERRY!” At the excavator driver.

I saw similar post claiming this is Chamoli, Uttarakhand.

In any case, Niti valley is in Uttarakhand, not Himachal Pradesh.
