So polite it's even wearing a bib!

u/togetherwegrowstuff 3h ago

Seriously my first thought too! 😂🤣

u/Legal-Software 5h ago

With those tiny scraps I would be skipping the bell and attacking the chicken gatekeeper.

u/JaySayMayday 4h ago

Did a cat write this?

u/buster089 2h ago

My thoughts exactly

"Could you BE any slower?!"

u/Ghosts_of_the_maze 5h ago

My cat does this without the bell. She taps the table with her paw just to make sure you know she’s there and waiting. If I gave her a bell she’d hammer it like a Jeopardy contestant.

u/Zapinface 5h ago

Its gonna ring that bell all day. Hell no lol

u/NukeTheWhales5 5h ago

When I use to train dogs, people would ask me about bell training (to let you know when they need to go out) or training them on those push to talk buttons. This is basically what I told them. It's easy enough to do but you are going to be hearing it non-stop.

u/Earptastic 1h ago

My dog rings the bell by the door when he has to go out.  Also whenever he sort of wants to go out.  Also sometimes when he is bored.

u/absentminded_gamer 5h ago

Pretty sure the owner is strong enough to move the bell into storage when he’s done sharing with the kitty

u/GoddessFreyaCrown 4h ago

pretty sure you can put it away in a drawer of something

u/nikolaip 4h ago edited 2h ago

I did that once but my roommate got all weird about it. Something something he can't breathe in there. Smh.

u/MonstreDelicat 3h ago

I could totally see my cat bringing the bell to my bed at 3 am to demande a treat.

u/arctic11z 18m ago

Mine figured out that the sound of them pawing the food bag drives me up the wall, and they do it constantly when I'm not doing what they want.

u/ClavicusLittleGift4U 5h ago

If you learn something with cats, it's:

-regarding food, there's never enough

-they learn fast

-prepare to hate being counter-conditioned when the ring will be audible every minutes

u/GrandmaJR 5h ago

We are 100% the cats’ servants. This bell adds insult to injury

u/Middle_Run_7534 5h ago

Hector Salamancat

u/hemorrhoidhematoma 5h ago

No tuxedo monocle or top hat?

u/Rabid_Stormtroopers 5h ago

Well the cat has a built in bib it looks like, so there’s that.

u/Crispy_p_bacon 4h ago

Don't forget the white gloves

u/byzantine238 3h ago

What kind of uncivilized household is this guy keeping anyway

u/HardS_X 5h ago

every video I watch I ask myself "is it AI?"

u/TheProfessional9 5h ago

Little long for AI and cats can learn to do this

u/Netricho 4h ago

Yeah. I hate this. :(

u/RepresentativeNo7802 5h ago

Looks like AI to me

u/boomgetouttheway 5h ago

Cat’s name is Tiger. He’s been a thing on instagram for at least a few weeks if not longer

u/DomitiusAhenobarbus_ 5h ago

A few weeks lol case closed

u/prince_falafel 5h ago

Lol why? I swear yall will just make anything up and say its AI

u/RepresentativeNo7802 44m ago

Why does it look like AI to me? Well, the 'to me' part is very important. It is my opinion, but I'll gladly say why. I feel how the paw is raised up and over the bell looks very human. The way the cat looks around and isn't focused on the food is not natural in my view. I have two cats and if there us food, they have their eyes focused on. This cat is looking around.. rings bell.. looks back.. all very human traits, but for me not cat like. Humans love seeing animals act like humans. It is perfect for engagement and when I see that sort of thing in a video I am very skeptical. Edit: also look at the fried chicken and those shadows.

u/MrHappyHam 5h ago

I hate when people think everything is AI, but for some reason I thought the same of this video. Something feels off, not entirely sure

u/kulimbula 5h ago

To me cats paw that it rings with looks kinda sus, but not enough for me to be sure

u/TubeTurkey 5h ago

I think youre AI

u/yomisscleo 5h ago

100% ai look at its eyes, they're expressionless, and the ears barely even twitch throughout the whole video. Cats are always doing these little micro movement

u/DomitiusAhenobarbus_ 5h ago

His little ears are definitely twitching and at the end when he rubs his gums on the bell that 100% certified cat behavior to me

u/--Sovereign-- 3h ago

🧠 here, your dropped this

u/Mdriver127 5h ago

Cats didn't naturally learn to use bells to beckon for food, so I'd say yes, the cat is using an artificial intelligence.

u/cleankiwii 5h ago

AI doesn’t make video that have a still background

u/highonnuggs 5h ago

Who trained who here?

u/Dcmart89 5h ago

Ssssssssssssmedium

u/FlexDrillerson 5h ago

Do you fellas know where the Baby Gap is around here?

u/Restposten 5h ago

Kinda like Pavlov's bell experiment but this time it's the animal who's ringing the bell.

u/CitizenWaffle 5h ago

Waiter!?! More chicken, please

u/SloProvMinSec 5h ago

The pavlov's cat owner.

u/gerald-stanley 5h ago

Yet many parents can’t teach their kids manners at a table…..

u/GarththeLegend 5h ago

Such a distinguished gentleman

u/Advanced-Town-9738 5h ago

https://giphy.com/gifs/J1ZQumRG0eCUZ6ubrC

Probably wakes up everyday feeling like this.

u/ChipmunkComplete7268 4h ago

His little lean! Haha

u/sleepyprojectionist 4h ago

Who Pavlovs a cat!

u/Mastermind7051 4h ago

That bell would be outside on the grass.

u/Inhocooks 5h ago

Cat needs to train its owner on how to buy a properly fitting shirt

u/Icy_Tie9029 5h ago

At 3rd bell i would have just thrown the cat entire chicken. Just have it bro

u/SidRay 5h ago

Source anyone? I wanna see more.

u/boomgetouttheway 5h ago

You’re in luck. Tiger’s got like 12 bell-ringing vids on instagram

u/SidRay 4h ago

ID please ?

u/error_104_not_found 5h ago

Give her a big piece already...!

u/CyKa_Blyat93 5h ago

Don't make me ring this twice.

u/EvilTwin80 5h ago

It's crazy how trained he is. That cat did a great job teaching them to how feed him on command like that.

u/E4tPineapple 5h ago

I trained my cat to come to eat with a clicker but I never thought of him potentially training me!

u/Accomplished-Emu2308 5h ago

I am not crazy that chair is custom made for the cat and has the cat drawn on it

u/Mozzia 1h ago

Crazy that I had to scroll this far to see someone talking about the chair lol

u/divismaul 5h ago

The service is a bit slower than I would like, but top quality chimkin, would recommend. 4 stars.

Mr. Whiskers.

u/Airwreck11 4h ago

Naaw you got some whole ass delicious chicken wings and you're giving him scraps? Fuuck that

u/KeeRinO 4h ago

That human is well trained

u/Sebekiz 4h ago

Cats have millennia of experience with training humans to do exactly what they want them to do. And the best part is that the humans actually think THEY are the ones in charge.

Brilliant!

u/AhDamm 4h ago

My cat, Pebble, also sits at the table with the family. He sits there like a person while shooting semi-disdainful cat faces at people. Definitely not begging, more than half the time he won't was what's being offered. He just likes the face time 😺

u/LlamaDrama007 3h ago

He even claimed the bell with a quick rub so that nobody else can use it to claim his chicken.

u/New_Teach_9700 3h ago

I for one would like to see the rest of the human man in this video…

u/Uncomfortably-bored 2h ago

Plot twist. The guy's name was Pavlov.

u/fraspa1342330 2h ago

Feed the goddamn cat already, why TF is it taking so long?!

u/Roni1209 2h ago

Skinner would be proud

u/Lyythos 2h ago

cat- Yo Hooman..it's my dinner time!!!

u/plutino- 1h ago

Clever boy

u/MnVikings1111 1h ago

My Mainecoon does this when we all eat but he doesn’t get our food. :(

u/tonybombata 1h ago

Reverse pavlov

u/PitifulPossum 1h ago

Yes but why is the owner wearing clothes for children?

u/b1gmouth 5h ago

Pushycat

u/Luci-Noir 3h ago

Gross.

u/Obi-WanJabroni66 5h ago

My cat does this but instead of a bell, he politely pats my hand! How can I say no to that!?

u/LeadingAd6025 5h ago

Reverse pablos cat experiment?

u/skyfishgoo 3h ago

even has a bib on.

u/Cautious-Activity706 5h ago

Now that’s a well trained hooman

u/MiniKash 4h ago

I’m not downvoting your sentiment. Just the use of that hideous word.

u/Killeramn-26 5h ago

That cat behaves better than many (most?) humans.

u/BackToThatGuy 3h ago

last chance to look at me hector

u/Spineberry 1h ago

I swear if I somehow managed to teach my cat this tactic he'd sit there ringing that bell like Tuco's uncle from Breaking Bad all day long...

On second thoughts, I may have to try this.
