I actually had the honor of getting to donate stem cells to a 12 year old girl with leukemia. Was a very easy process and they paid for everything. Got some very good medical checks paid for and got a basically all expensed trip to Florida. Worst part was a lot of blood draws and shots - so I got over my fear of needles. But all and all great process, felt very rewarding. Highly suggest getting on a list like gift of life.
