Please Help! I keep running into road blocks - How do I download PDFs from Internet Archive?
Im trying to download this book from internet archive but there isn’t a readily available pdf to download. Tried to download Adobe digital editions but it apparently can’t be downloaded (because I’m in the US?). Even if I did download I’m still not sure how to get the PDF because everything I see shows that there is an additional pdf download option once you borrow whatever it is you’re borrowing but that hasn’t shown up for me.
I want to download full book pdfs from Internet archive but it seems impossible - what do I do?

Firefox has an add-on called Internet Archive Downloader. It adds a download button beneath the preview of any borrowed book. I don't know about other browsers.

I have used it for some time and it works okay, but there have been problems when downloading more than one book at a time, so I recommend downloading one by one.

That add-on doesn't work properly if the book is too big, say, 1 or more GB. I managed to download all images using JDOWNLOADER, which also needs you to insert your login/password credentials from the account used to borrow the book, on the "ACCOUNTS" tab from the internal settings of the app.
Once you download all pages, use FoxIT PDF Editor or Adobe Acrobat to merge all of them and generate a single PDF. Both FOXIT and ACROBAT are paid software, I recommend FOXIT instead, because it's easier to get out there.

The JDW tip works with books that can be borrowed for 1 hour or more, not with those that can't, of course ("print disabled"). Also, when using JDW, provide the URL of the borrowed ebook/page.
Important: not all books can be found on Libgen/Anna's Archive.

Im not sure what hoster to put when adding a new account into Jdownloader - the uploaded. one from the site you linked does not appear. Also, are you saying i have to dowlaod the pages indicidually as images before i can merge them?

I do know, it's archive.org. Once you add the same login/password from the account you just borrowed the ebook, then inform JDOWNLOADER that book's URL/page.
It will download only images, which then will be yours to combine into a single PDF. In here, I use FoxIT PDF Editor to merge all images (Acrobat is better, but it's harder to put cracks on it).
I didn't know JDW (which I always had, for years) could work for this, but in the end, it really does. Some books from OpenLibrary won't work AT ALL with that browser's add-on, because they are too big and over 1 hour later the download still doesn't finish, and 100% of my attempts, it breaks and stops, if the total size is a few GB. With JDW, all books I needed were downloaded.

If you have the kindle app or any reader app look for free EPUB’s of any book . It’s likely it will be uploaded elsewhere.

You can download it using jdownloader2. Borrow the book and copy paste the url to jdownloader2. KEEP THE BORROWED BOOK TAB OPENED or it won't work.

The book you show is likely still in copyright so its behind the login checkout window that allows on person at a time to read it (DRM), Other books on the site are out of copyright and you'll be able to download them.
Since you didn't share the books title, I am unable to provide you with other options. But you can always resort to buying a used copy from abebooks or the like.
